Khordha: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police seized 52 kg of ganja from Mukundaprasad area in the Khordha district.
Two peddlers were arrested in this connection.
The duo has been identified as Sudhir Lima of Tikamala under R Udayagiri police limits in Gajapati and Sk Akash of Bada Basti under Pipili police in Puri.
The STF seized the ganja and other incriminating materials from their possession.
A case has been registered at Khordha Town Police Station for necessary legal action under section 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of NDPS Act 1985. Further investigation is underway, the STF stated.
Since 2020, STF has seized more than 50 kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin, 202 Gram Cocaine, and more than 92 quintals of Ganja/Marijuana and arrested more than 139 drug dealers/peddlers.
