Students Enjoy Stories in International Convention on Millets 

Bhubaneswar: In an engaging event, over 150 students from various educational institutions participated in a storytelling session organised today on the occasion of International Convention of Millets.

The students from schools such as DAV, Chandrasekharpur, DAV, Unit VIII, SAI International, Odisha Armed Police Battalion High School and Mother’s Public School enjoyed the storytelling session.

The story telling session was an attraction for students who learned in an atmosphere of joy, merrymaking and at the same time were enlightened on importance and food value of millets.

Renowned storytellers Nupur Agarwal and Prachitara beautifully used puppets and musical instruments, even involving the students as props during their storytelling sessions. Internationally acclaimed Chef Vikas Khanna, as guest told an impromptu tale about a boy named Jugnu, delivering the moral that “the light is inside our hearts, and we must never let anyone dim it.”

The event was moderated by Sujit Mahapatra, the Secretary of Bakul Foundation.
