Cuttack: Senor BJD leader and former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Subash Singh has been sworn in as the Mayor of Cuttack. He was administered the Oath of Office by Sngramjit Nayak, Director, Municipal Administration, Government of Odisha. Subash had won the elections for the post of Mayor held directly recently. He had won the elections by more than forty five thousand votes defeating Congress’ Giribala Behera. All the Corporators of the Municipal Corporation also took oath today.
The elections for the post of Deputy Mayor is being held today.
