Rourkela: The Sundargarh district administration’s noble initiative ‘Sudakshya’ is turning gaming changer for the educated youths as it helps them to crack competitive exams.
The district administration has started this unique initiative to provide free coaching to educated youths in the age group of 17-28 for various competitive exams, like banking, staff selection commission, railway, army, air force, navy, police, paramilitary and insurance and other sectors.
Sudakshya has enabled talented youth, mostly from underprivileged section, to realize their dreams of cracking competitive careers.
“Under job oriented short term coaching ‘Sudakshya’ in Sundargarh, 35 candidates from 1st batch have been placed at various organizations. 17 are from Sundargarh, 12 from Rourkela and 6 from Bonai centres have cracked their dream careers with free coaching supported by DMF”, informed Sundargarh Collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan.
So far, three ‘Sudakshya’ centres have been opened at Rourkela, Sundargarh and Rourkela to augment competitive exam-taking skills among candidates of the district who have passed +2 and +3 classes.
Along with free coaching, candidates are provided hostel, study materials & uniforms free of cost. The District Mineral Foundation, Sundargarh (DMF) is providing financial support for the program, while the Niyatee Foundation, an NGO is the implementing agency.
