Boudh: Three Police personnel including an outpost in-charge and two constables have been suspended in Boudh for their links with ganja smuggling. Boudh SP Prahalad Sahai Meena has suspended Bagiapada police outpost in-charge, Sanatan Pradhan and Constables Sanjib Pradhan and Keshab Pradhan on charges of dereliction of duty.
They had allegedly helped two ganja smugglers to get out of a smuggling case and keeping the contraband in their official residence. Police has seized thirteen kilograms of Ganja from the smugglers along with the two wheeler. But the police personnel did not enter the incident in records. On getting information about the issue, the Boudh SP initiated action against the three police personnel. Further investigation is continuing in the issue.
