Berhampur: In a tragic accident, three persons died and several others injured when a scorpio vehicle rammed into a marriage party near Mandiapalli in Berhampur. The incident occurred yesterday night. The condition of three injured is said to be serious.
The victims were immediately shifted to the MKCG Medical Berhampur. According to reports, the driver of the four wheeler vehicle was drunk and driving carelessly. A pal of gloom descended in the area after three persons died.
On being informed about the incident, OSD to CM, Dr. Gopabandhu Dash immediately rushed to the spot. He met the families of victims and conveyed his deep sympathies. He extended all possible support and prayed for the speed recovery to the injured.
