Three Maoists Including Two Women Killed In Exchange of Fire At Tulsi Pahad In Malkangiri

Malkangiri: In a major breakthrough in the fight against maoists in the Andhra Odisha Border area, three top cadre maoists including two women were killed by the security forces in an encounter at the Tulsi Pahad under Mathili Police limits in Malkangiri district. The SOG and DVF forces engaged in a fierce gun battle with the maoists during a combing operation.

According to sources, a number of maoists managed to escape the spot. Forces have recovered arms and ammunition from the spot. Combing operations have been intensified in the area.
