Bhubaneswar: Three districts of Odisha have been put on high alert after the grisly Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh.
The high alert has been sounded in the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur. These districts share border with the neighboring Chhattisgarh.
The security personnel have been directed to remain cautious. Instructions have been issued to intensify patrolling, blocking and checking in these three districts, informed Director Intelligence Sanjeeb Panda.
Notably, 11 jawans, including a driver, were killed in a blast triggered by Maoists in Dantewada district in the neighboring State on Wednesday.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has strongly condemned the Maoist attack.
