Bhubaneswar: Titilagarh town in Odisha’s Balangir district recorded its hottest day so far on Thursday, with temperature crossing the 42-dgree mark.
As per the IMD’s Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar, Titilagarh recorded the day temperature of 42.2 degree Celsius, which is the highest in the State on Thursday.
Six other places – Jharsuguda (41.2), Sambalpur (40.1), Sundargarh (40.0), Bhawanipatna (41.2) Balangir (41.2) and Boudh (41.0) saw maximum day temperature of 40 degree or above.
