Together We Can …. Inspired By 5T Mantra, Team Odisha Successfully Steers Disaster Management

Bhubaneswar: The Bahanaga train accident was one of the biggest disasters that Odisha faced in the last few decades and its is also one of the best examples where the maximum number of people were saved. The secret behind Odisha’s successful disaster management can be attributed to the team work – the core principle of the 5T Mantra of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. From the moment the event occurred till all the rescue and relief works completed Team Odisha worked in unison to manage the catastrophe.

Starting from the higher echelons of the administration to the ground zero, all came together to save humanity. While the senior officials of the state government including Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, 5T Secretary and others worked round the clock, the spirit of team work that worked wonders.

At the State disaster response control room at the SRC’s office in Bhubaneswar, senior officials of Odisha including Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, Development Commissioner cum Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh and Principal Secretary Usha Padhee were seen at work at odd times for the sake of welfare of the common man. They are all bound by one principle i.e., Team Work – the core principle of 5T Initiatives of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
