Transformed Capital High School Sports Training Center All Set To Host FIFA U-17 Teams For Practice

Bhubaneswar: The 5T School Transformation program is not just transforming the academic infrastructure of the schools but is also providing world class sports infrastructure to nurture the future generations of sports persons. As part of the efforts, the Capital High School in Bhubaneswar, one of the oldest schools of Odisha’s capital city, has been provided with a most modern Sports Training Center that also includes the Capital Football Arena.

The Sports Training Center of Capital High School and its Capital Football Arena have been transformed into full-fledged sporting centers having all requisite infrastructure and facilities to train world class athletes. As Bhubaneswar is going to see a host of high profile sporting events in the coming days, the Sports Training Center will also play an important role and is going to host international sports persons for their practice and training purposes. In the very beginning, this facility is going to host the teams of the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup as a practice venue. This world class facility has the best practice turf, flood lights, gallery, rest rooms, players changing rooms, coach room, referee room, store room, advance media and conference room and toilets.

The Capital High School Sports Training Center is the newest addition to the other modern sports facilities available in Bhubaneswar along with the Kalinga Stadium Sports Complex.
