Transport Dept Provides 150 Tabs to Odisha Police to Record Details of Accidents on Spot

Bhubaneswar: The State Transport Department has provided 150 tabs to Odisha Police to help in recording the details of motor vehicle accidents on the spot.

The tabs were handed over to Director General of Police (DGP) Sunil Kumar Bansal by Principal Secretary of Commerce and Transport Department Bishnupada Sethi under Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) project, the State Transport Authority (STA), Odisha informed.

Transport Commissioner Arun Bothra was present on the occasion.

The tabs will be used by the investigating officers of roadside police stations to maintain database of road accidents.

It will be easy for an investigating officer to enter the required information in tab instead of filling the form manually.
