Bhubaneswar: Two workers reportedly died due to suffocation while they were cleaning a septic tank here on Saturday.
The tragic incident took place at Raghunath Nagar Lane-2 in Sisupalgarh area in the city.
As per reports, the two labourers got trapped inside the septic tank. Due to lack of oxygen, they died of asphyxia inside the tank.
Despite many efforts, they could not come out. Locals also failed to bring them out. With the help of fire service personnel, the workers were rescued from the tank and were taken to the Capital Hospital where they were declared dead.
