Bhubaneswar: Giving a boost to Invest in Odisha, UltraTech Cement, one of the largest cement manufacturers in the country, has commissioned 1.5 MTPA brownfield cement grinding unit at Jharsuguda.
The move will further bolster Odisha’s position as a manufacturing hub, generate employment for youth and foster economic growth, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
With the commissioning of this new unit, UltraTech Cement has taken the company’s total cement capacity in Odisha to 4.1mtpa. Its total cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 122.85 mtpa, as per reports.
