Surat: Amid high voltage drama after Maharashtra Minister and Shiv Sena MLA, Eknath Shinde moved to Le Meridien hotel here with 20 MLAs, one of the MLAs Nitin Deshmukh was admitted to a government hospital in the city after he complained of uneasiness.

Sources also said Deshmukh had created ruckus in the hotel on Monday night as he was not at all happy with the way he was brought to Surat.
In afternoon, two cars with Maharashtra registration number plates reached hotel Le Meridien. One of the cars had registration number MH40AR1994, of Mercedes make, was allowed in the hotel, only after senior police officers spoke to Ektnath Sindhe and BJP leaders.
It is yet not clear whether more Shiv Sena MLAs have been brought to Surat. Shiv Sena’s senior leaders have reached Surat to convince MLAs to come back to the party fold.
Sources said, Shiv Sena top brass has deputed two senior leaders — Milind Narvekar and Ravindra Pathak to talk to the rebel MLAs and sent them to Surat. These leaders will speak to Eknath Sindhe and others. Even BJP MLA Sanjay Kute has reached Surat and is meeting with Shiv Sena MLAs.
Sources also say BJP’s former chief minister Devendra Fadanvis is likely to reach Gujarat in a few hours. He may land in Surat and meet Shiv Sena’s rebel MLAs.
It is believed that Eknath Shinde will address press only after Fadanvis arrives in the city.
