Bhubaneswar: In a major recognition, the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Angul has received the ISO 9001:2015 for quality management system.
This has been informed by National Health Mission, Odisha.
The UPHC has got the prestigious recognition for compliance with requirements of quality management system in areas of providing general OPD services, supplying of free medicines under NIRAMAYA scheme, diagnosis services, immunization, family planning counselling, dental OPD, care in pregnancy and child birth, neonatal & infant health care services, childhood & adolescent health care services.
The UPHC has also maintained quality management system in ccreening, prevention, control & management of communicable & non-communicable diseases and chronic communicable diseases like TB and Leprosy, common Ophthalmic & ENT Services, Reproductive Health care Services, Emergency Medical Services, Tele Consultation services under e-Sanjeevani,.
The health centre has also carryout different outreach services to promote health of slum dwellers.
