Puri: The Puri police has detained a suspect in connection with the vandalisation of chullahs (clay ovens) at the Rosaghara (Temple kitchen) in Srimandir.
The person has been detained after analyzing the CCTV footage.
“The suspect identified in CCTV footage has just now been detained”, the Puri police said.
Further interrogation is underway, it added.
Earlier, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal visited the temple to take stock of the situation.
