Wearing Mask Mandatory For Visiting Ratya Yatra This Year: Health Director

Bhubaneswar: Wearing of mask by the pilgrims coming to Puri during the coming Ratha Yatra is mandatory.

Odisha Director of Health Services, Bijay Kumar Mahapatra has said that, keeping in view the situation in the cou try, it has been decided to make wearing of mask compulsory for all coming to Puri during the world famous Ratha Yatra. He said that, the government has taken steps to set up temporary health camps at various places of Puri including at railway station, bus stand, and at the Bada Danda in Puri.

He also said that, people with symptoms should stay at home and not to come to Puri to witness the Rath Yatra and rather watch it on television.
