West Bengal BJP MP Praises Odisha’s Srimandira Heritage Corridor Project, Ekamra Kshetra Devt Works

Bhubaneswar: At a time when the leaders of Odisha unit of BJP are allegedly engaged in politicizing the Srimandira Heritage Corridor project in the pilgrim city of Puri and Ekamra Kshetra project in the temple city of Bhubaneswar, an MP from the saffron party has lauded both the projects of the Odisha Government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

As per reports, Dilip Ghosh, a BJP Lok Sabha MP from Medinipur constituency in West Bengal, has showered praises on Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the ambitious projects, which are set to give new look to theses iconic monuments and better facilities to the pilgrims coming from around the world.

Terming the developmental works at Srimandir and Lingaraj temple ‘remarkable’, the West Bengal MP urged the leaders to refrain from doing politics on these projects.

Ghosh, who visited both the temples recently, said that there has been a great transformation at both the famous shrines in the last ten years. It was highly essential to carry out such massive ransformative works at these two famous historic sites of the country, he said.

He said that Odisha is moving forward under the leadership of Naveen Patnaik. Both the State and Centre should work together for the development of heritage sites, he said while urging the leaders to stop indulging in politics for their vested interests.

Meanwhile, the West Bengal BJP MP’s praises for Srimandir Heritage Corridor project and Ekamra Kshetra project have put the Odisha BJP leaders in a quandary.
