Bhubaneswar: A white tigress died at Odisha’s Nandankanan Zoological Park here on Saturday due to age-related ailments.
11-and-half-year-old white tigress ‘Bijaya’ passed away while undergoing treatment at the zoo.
Bijaya was unwell since October 9. The big cat was being treated by the veterinarians from the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), as per reports.
Last year, Bijaya had delivered three cubs at the zoo.
