137 Deaths On the First Day Of Russian Attack In Ukraine

New Delhi: Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that 137 persons including civilians and soldiers have died in the first day of the attack by Russia in Ukraine. While the multi pronged attack on Ukraine by Russia continued for the second night, the Russian forces have seized the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant and taken the staff as hostages. They are just miles away from the Capital Kyiv.

Anton Herashchenko, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry advisor has said that attacks have resumed on Friday morning over Kyiv and he heard two explosions. Russian forces are attacking Kyiv with cruise and ballistic missiles. On the other hand, the Ukrainian government has said that its forces have shot down a Russian fighter plane over Kyiv.
