Bhubaneswar: As many as 15 leopard skins have been seized in the last one year by the Special Task Force (STF) under the Crime Branch of the Odisha police.
The STF has carried out a special drive against wildlife criminals/poachers and seized 15 leopard skins, 9 elephant tusks, two deer skins, three live pangolin and 10 kg pangolin scales during the past one year.
At least 28 persons have been arrested during the drive, according to STF SP Tejeswar Patel.
Recently, the STF has seized a leopard skin in Boudh district and arrested one person in this connection.
