Bhubaneswar: The Union Ministry Of Home Affairs has released the list of Police Personnel who will be awarded the Police Medals on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day tomorrow. The list contains names of 939 Police Personnel froma cross the country who will be awarded the Police Medals. The list includes 189 names for Police Medal for Gallantry, 88 names for President’s Police Medal (PPM) for Distinguished Service and 662 names for Police Medal (PM) for Meritorious Service.
Twenty two police personnel from Odisha have been selected for the prestigious medals by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Nine Police personnel from Odisha will receive Police Medal for Gallantry, two for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, and Eleven will get Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
