New Delhi: With addition of 93,337 new coronavirus cases and 1,247 deaths in the last 24 hours, India’s tally of coronavirus infection soared to 53,08,015 on Saturday.
This has been revealed by the Union health Ministry.
The death toll due to the novel coronavirus pandemic in the country reached 85,619.
Meanwhile, 42,08,432 COVID-19 patients have been cured and discharged so far.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in country stand at 10,13,964.
Total samples tested up to 18th September are 6,24, 54, 254 including 8,81,911 samples tested yesterday, according to ICMR.
