Berhampur: In a boost to the Skilled-in-Odisha programme, as many as 550 students of the state government-run Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Berhampur got placements at Johnson Lift & Escalators Pvt. Ltd.
The company recruited for its Pune, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Noida, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar units from ITI, Berhampur.
A team of 10 HR managers from all over India participated in this recruitment drive.
720 students from fitter, electrician, electronics mechanic, technician mechatronics, instrument mechanic, diesel mechanic, motor mechanic vehicle, machinist, turner, tractor mechanic and painter (G) participated in the drive.
Out of 720 students 550 students including 139 girl students selected, said Principal of ITI Berhampur in a statement.
The mega campus drive continued for two days on May 16 and 17. Prof. Ashok Kumar Ganguli, Director, IISER, Berhampur participate in the final day of offer letter distribution. He has asked the students to be dedicated. They can elevate their carrer vehicle transportation in lift.
