Sambalpur: It was a pleasant surprise for the students of Sevashram School in Sambalpur district as they were unexpectedly taught by a new teacher. And the teacher was none other than the District Collector Shubham Saxena.
The Collector made a surprise visit to Khandiamunda Sevashram School in Naktideul block under Rairakhol subdivision and went straight to a classroom.
Saxena asked several questions to the students in the presence of Headmaster Surubabu Meher. He took the class for almost 15 minutes. The students quite enjoyed the class.
The Collector, who previously donned the role of a teacher, was also seen quite satisfied interacting with the children and listening to their academic queries.
Meanwhile, the Collector’s visit to the school was highly appreciated by the parents and locals as they feel it will put positive impact in creating a good academic environment in the school.
