Odisha Govt Effects Bureaucratic Reshuffle, Six Officers Given New Roles

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre assigning new roles to six officers.

As per a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, Director, ST. ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department with addl. charge of Director, Tourism, Tourism Department is appointed as Director, Tourism, Tourism Department.

B. Parameswaran, who is currently posted as Director, Land Records, Surveys & Consolidation, Odisha, Cuttack with Addl. Charge of State Project Director, Odisha Higher Education Project for Excellence & Equity and IG of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack, has been appointed as Director-cum-Joint Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.

Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, Joint Secretary to Government, H & FW Department under orders of transfer as Director-cum-Joint Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, has been posted as Director, ST, ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department.

The post of Director, ST is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State, the notification said.

Brundaban Behera, Additional Secretary to Government, Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Dept, is appointed as Director, Land Records. Surveys & Consolidation, Odisha, Cuttack. B. Parameswaran has been transferred.

The post of Director, Land Records, Surveys & Consolidation, Odisha, Cuttack is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.

Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, who is currently serving as Director, NRLM, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, has been posted as Director, Fisheries, Odisha, Cuttack.

Umakanta Tripathy, Joint Secretary to Govt., L& ESI Department, has appointed as Director, Panchayati Raj, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.
