Odisha Govt’ New Year Gift: 8102 Junior Teachers Regularized

Bhubaneswar: In a New Year gift, the Odisha Government has regularized as many as 8102 contractual junior teachers in the State.

This has been informed by School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash on Saturday.

The Minister stated that the 2015 junior teachers’ batch have been regularized and all the 8,102 junior teachers will benefit in the State.

A notification in this regard will be issued today, he said.

He added that after the relaxation of the age limit, 40 052 primary school teachers have been promoted.

Earlier, the State Government has approved a major proposal to provide grant-in-aid as per the 7th Pay Commission scale to the eligible staff in new-aided non-government High Schools, Upper Primary Schools, Madrasas, and colleges.
