India Reports 55% Jump in Covid Cases in Last 24 Hrs with 58,097 Fresh Cases

New Delhi: India registered 58,097 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, a 55 per cent rise than yesterday’s 37,379 cases.

The country’s Omicron infection numbers also increased to 2,135 cases. Maharashtra leads the tally with 653 cases, followed by Delhi with 464 cases, according to reports.

The active Covid cases in the country stand at 2,14,004. The total number of recoveries in the country is 3,43,21,803.
