Bhbaneswar: The Jajpur district administration has recommended the State Election Commission for repolling in 14 booths in Jajpur District after receiving reports about disruptions in the booths during the third phase of voting of the three-tier Panchayat Polls.
Repolling will be held in 14 booths of Binjharpur and Korei Blocks. Eight of the booths belong to Binjharpur Block and six to Korei Block. Earlier today, voting was disrupted in Bachol Panchayat in Binjharpur due to violence in which some journalists were also attacked by anti socials.
