Bhubaneswar: A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) today picked up a student from Khandagiri area and interrogated him at an undisclosed place.
According to reports, the NIA team with help of Odisha Crime Branch (CB) and the Commissionerate Police detained the suspected student. However, the link behind the detention is yet to be ascertained.
No one is detained or arrested, informed Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi.
“Media is requested not to go after the student and not to disclose the name of the student till the investigating agency decides to prosecute him,” added Sarangi.
As per information, the case in which the student was interrogated is not related to terrorism,” the CP asserted.
