Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded a 79 per cent deficit in rainfall from June 1 to June 12, informed the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
The State has received 10.7 mm rainfall from June 1 to June 12, which was 79 per cent less than the normal rainfall of 50.8 mm, the Meteorological Centre said.
Three districts has reported 100 per cent deficit rainfall during the period. Three more districts has recorded deficit rainfall of 20 per cent to 59 per cent and 24 districts has witnessed deficit rainfall of 60 per cent or above, it added.
