Berhampur: Children’s Day was celebrated at De Paul School here today with great enthusiasm and frolic to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
Even though, the Day was celebrated through virtual mode in view of the COVID-19 pandemic without the physical participation of students at school, the teachers of this premier school left no stones unturned to make it special for children.
Teachers of De Paul School Berhampur organized a host of cultural programmes to entertain and motivate the students.
Principal of De Paul School Fr. Saju Antony CM paid floral tributes to Jawaharlal Nehru on the occasion and wished bright future for the students.
In his address, the Principal urged the students to convert the current problem of pandemic into an opportunity and explore alternatives in the process of learning.
