Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has thanked legendary writer Gulzar for including Koshali poet Haldhar Nag’s two poems in his new book “A Poem a Day”. Taking to Twitter, Naveen said “ Thank you #Gulzar Saab for including #Odisha’s legendary poet Haldhar Nag’s poems in your translated poetry collection, ‘A Poem A Day’. It is a fitting tribute to the immensely talented Koshali language poet and his lifelong work to promote the language.
Gulzar’s new book is a collection of 365 poems collected from various parts of the country and features Haldhar Nag’s two poems in the first. The two poems by the noted Koshali writer that have been translated by Gulzar are Pancha Amruta and Citthi Deuchen Re Haldhar.
