5T Secy Gifts Book on Legendary Leader Biju Patnaik to Kalahandi Student Who Aspires to Be a Pilot

Bhubaneswar: Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian has gifted a book on legendary leader and former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik to a student from Kalahandi district who aspires to become a pilot.

Khirod Punji, a student of Gandhiji High School in Kalahandi has received the book ‘The Adventures of The Daredevil Democrat’, depicting the life and works of Biju Patnaik, from the 5T Secretary.

The 5T Secretary had interacted with the students while reviewing the progress of the third phase of the High School Transformation Programme in the district.

Punji took the opportunity to spell his dream before the 5T Secretary.

On knowing the student’s dream to become a pilot, the 5T Secretary gifted him the book and wished him success.

Punji got the book from Kalahandi Collector P. Anvesha Reddy.

Earlier, Pandian had held discussion with stakeholders of each of the 98 high schools of the district being taken up for transformation in the third phase of the High School Transformation programme and motivated them to complete the programme with transparency in a time bound manner with involvement of all.
