Bhubaneswar: In view of the prevailing heat wave condition in the State, the Odisha Government on Sunday announced that all Anganwadi centres in the State will have morning classes from tomorrow.
As per the decision of the Government, the classes at Anganwadi centres will be held from 7.00 am to 10.00 am from April 17. However, the district Collectors can change the time schedule of Anganwadi centres as per the situation in their areas. They can also declare holiday, if necessary.
The Anganwadi centres have also been asked to make arrangements for an adequate supply of drinking water for the children and their staff during working hours, according to an official order.
