Odisha Vigilance Raids Two Illegal Sawmills, Seizes Timber worth over Rs 27 Lakh 

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance on Friday raided at two illegal sawmills and seized accessories with valuable timber worth more than Rs 27 lakh.

The forest wing of the Vigilance conducted the raids at two illegal sawmills without valid license at Gargara village in Khordha and Baghua Chitalpur village in Cuttack.

During the joint forest raid, the Vigilance sleuths unearthed sawmill accessories with valuable timber worth over Rs.27 lakh.

“In a joint forest raid conducted today by forest wing of Odisha Vigilance, on running of two illegal sawmills without valid license at Gargara village in Khordha and Baghua Chitalpur village in Cuttack”, the Vigilance informed.
