Sambalpur: The Hirakud Dam authorities have opened six more sluice gates to release the flood waters. With this, the flood water is being released through total 20 gates. The authorities have opened 13 gates from the left side and six gates from the right side. The gates have been opened keeping in view the increase in the water level and flow into the Dam.
