Central Team Visits Sundargarh to Review Scrub Typhus Situation

Sundargarh: A team of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare visited Sundargarh district to review the scrub typhus situation.

The six-member team comprising Dr Samir Gulati, Professor of Medicine, Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, Dr Tushar Nale, Deputy Director of the National Centre for Disease Control, Dr Dhara B Shah, Assistant Director (Microbiology), National Centre for Disease Control, Dr Arushi Ghai, EIS (Epidemic Intelligence Service) officer, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) held a review meeting with CDMO Dr. Dharaniranjan Satpathy in the conference hall of the CDMO office, as per the reports.

Two experts from the State Health Department accompanied the central team.
