Bhubaneswar: Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gopal Krushna Das, accused in the murder of Health Minister Naba Kishore Das, was arrested by the Crime Branch.
This has been informed by Crime Branch ADG Arun Bothra.
The Crime Branch will seek to take the accused on a seven-day remand, Bothra said.
Investigation is on to ascertain why Gopal fired at the Minister and whether there was past enmity, the Crime Branch ADG said while clarifying that Gopal never worked as PSO of the Health Minister.
