Cuttack: Senior advocate Aditya Kumar Mohapatra has been appointed as the new Judge of the Orissa High Court, Cuttack.
“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Aditya Kumar Mohapatra, to be a Judge of the Orissa High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office,” according to an official notification issued by the Department of Justice under Ministry of Law and & Justice.
Mohapatra’s name was recommended for appointment as High Court Judge by the Supreme Court Collegium on September 30.
