All Arrangements Made for Bijepur By-poll 

Bargarh: With just two days remaining for the prestigious by-election to Bijepur Assembly constituency in Odisha’s Bargarh district, the administration has made all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the election.

As many as 285 polling stations have been set up, out of which 135 booths have been identified as sensitive. The security will be tightened at these sensitive booths, said Bargarh Collector Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan.

Besides, special security measures including the installation of CCTV cameras and webcasting are also arranged.

Arrangements have also been made for live webcast from 28 booths.  16 booths will be videographed, micro-observers will be deployed at 77 booths.

A total of 2,32,264 voters has been enlisted for the election, out of which 1,12,114 women, 1,20,135 men and 10 transgenders.

Special provisions will be made for 2,750 Divyang voters to exercise their franchise.

A total of 2,321 vehicles will be engaged for the poll in Bijepur.
