Berhampur: The Berhampur Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements for the smooth conduct of annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
Here are the details:
• All Vehicles coming from Ichhapur side towards town are diverted at Khajuria Jn. via Lanjipalli/Kamapalli over bridge. road.
• All vehicles carrying passengers/goods (bus, truck & trekkers etc.) coming from town will not be allowed towards Gosaninuagan and are diverted from Sheela Patrol pump JN.
• Those vehicles moving towards Ichhapur side are diverted towards National Highway via Tata Benz junction, Kamapalli junction and Lanjipalli/ Kamapalli over bridge.
• All heavy vehicles are diverted from Engineering school to Lanjipali via Railway overbridge.
• All vehicles coming from Chhatrapur and Gopalpur side towards town are diverted from DIG office junction via RDC office, Sadar Court & Kamapalli Jn.
• Light vehicles, motor cycles, bullock carts, rickshaws, and cycles shall not be allowed beyond K. C. High School ground.
• Similarly vehicles coming from Ichhapur side are not allowed to G.Nuagaon & they are diverted towards Andhapasara road.
Earlier on Thursday, Berhampur SP Saravana Vivek M has reviewed the security and traffic arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
