Bhitarakanika National Park Reopens For Visitors Today 

Kendrapara: The Bhitarakanika National Park has been opened for visitors from today again after eleven days of closure for crocodile census. The Census was carried between 9th January to 14th January 2023. There were 1793 crocodiles spotted in and outside the water bodies of Rajanagar Mangrove forest Division and the National Park.

The spotted crocodiles include 569 hatchlings, 388 yearlings, 325 juveniles, 166 sub-adults and 345 adult. Also, the census team found four albinos in the wild along with the famous 46-year old captive albino Gori. A large number of visitors were seen today morning at the National park.
