Bhubaneswar Registers Record 550 Caseload, 31 Media Persons Infected in 24 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Capital registered a record spike of 550 fresh caseload of Covid-19 in last 24 hours, officials said today.

While 243 persons recorded from quarantine, 307 have been infected by locals contact in last 24 hours.

Accirding to reports 31 media persons have also been infected with Coronavirus.

“Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts of infected persons are being while nearby houses of positive cases are also being sanitised,” said an official.

As many as 12403 Covid-19 positive cases have been reported so far from the state capital and While 46 persons in Bhubaneswar have died of Covid-19 so far.
