Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s capital city has registered 409 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and 344 recoveries during the same period.
Of the new cases, as many as 242 have been detected from quarantine centres and the rest 167 are local contact cases, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed today.
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the BMC area now stands at 12812 including 4886 active cases.
The total recoveries in the city reached 7867 as 344 more patients got cured from the virus in the last 24 hours, the BMC.
