Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today named the star campaigners for Pipli by-election, scheduled to be held on April 17.
Here is the list:
BJD has nominated Rudra Pratap Maharathy, son of late Pradeep Maharathy, as the party candidate for the ensuing by-election.
The by-election has been necessitated following death of Pradeep Maharathy on October 4 last year. Maharathy had elected from the seat for a record seven times.
