Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has received more than 10,000 applications for the party tickets for the ensuing 2024 general elections.
This has been informed by BJD Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das.
The Jajpur MLA said that the BJD has received more than 10,000 applications for the party ticket in the 2024 general elections. It is very gratifying that a large number of professionals and leaders of national political parties are also applying for BJD tickets, Das said.
He further said that the huge number of applications show that the trust and confidence of the people in the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is growing.
The people of Odisha have already made up their minds to elect Naveen Patnaik as the Chief Minister for the sixth time in a row, the BJD Organizational Secretary asserted.
For the past few years, all the national level survey reports have rated Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik as the Number One Chief Minister of the country. Similarly, by winning more than 52 percent of the votes in the 2022 Panchayat elections and forming ZPs in all 30 districts, the people of Odisha have proved that the Biju Janata Dal is the number one political party in Odisha.
The Biju Janata Dal is moving towards a historic victory in this election with the blessings of 4.5 crore people of Odisha, he said.
