Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of BJP has demanded the resignation of State Planning Board Deputy Chairperson Sanjay Das Burma following the mysterious death of his personal security guard.
The body of Chittaranjan Palei, personal security guard of Sanjay Das Burma, was found from a river in Puri district under mysterious circumstances.
BJP state vice-president and Brahmagiri MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra has demanded resignation of Das Burma from Planning Board Deputy Chairperson post for his alleged involvement in the incident.
Talking to media, Mohapatra said that the BJD leader should step down from the post he is holding after the victim’s family allegedly levelled charges against the planning board deputy chairperson.
