BMC Declares Area Coming within Boundary of Bhubaneswar Judicial Complex and DLSA Lewis Road as Contain Zone
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared the area coming within the boundary of Bhubaneswar Judicial Complex and DLSA Lewis Road as containment zone after the detection of several COVID-19 positive cases in Civil Court, Khordha here.
The containment order will remain effect from September 19 to 25, the BMC said.
“Several positive cases have been detected in Civil Court, Khordha at Bhubaneswar and to contain further spread of COVID-19, it is necessary to make the affected are as a containment zone to to restrict public from entering into and going out of the containment zone”, the order reads.
However, the Office of the Sub Collector, Bhubaneswar, Office of the Tahasildar Bhubaneswar and District Sub Registrar Offices have been excluded from containment zone.
No public shall be allowed to move into the containment zone and the inhabitants within the containment zone shall not move out. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately.
All the government and private institutions located within the boundary of the containment zone is hereby closed, the BMC said.
